It's been a while since I blogged. Yes, things are going well and stable with me and C. We have the same strong feeling towards each other and we enjoy each other's company. We can make each other laugh and he is very caring at the same time.
But knowing the fact that he might leave sometime soon makes me upset... It's like, why my relationship always get torn by long distance? He might need to go back to the States to see his dad who is recovering from a surgery. His mom wants him to go back to help. He is depressed as he doesn't want to go but at the same time, he feels the need to be with his parents at this difficult time. He fears that he might not be able to come back once he left... or he wouldn't know WHEN he can come back. To me, equally sad. Of course I never want him to leave but at the same time, I can't be selfish to keep him by my side and let his parents face this time alone. We are now trying to find a compromise in between. I just hope that whatever this is, it can be a win-win situation.
We are now taking it day by day, enjoying it while we can. Very bittersweet each time we see each other. He is avoiding to face the fact that he needs to go because he will get very very upset. I sure as hell don't want to bring it up because it will make me tear up.
Feeling sad and at the same time knowing we need to do the right thing, is killing us both.
One of my absolute favorite songs. I tried to find it for a few years but I just couldn't seem to have any success in getting the CD. Either the imported CD site sold out or they had her albums but just not the CD with this song.
Then I gave up... and completely forgot about this song for like 2 years.
Yesterday, this song came up randomly when I was browsing Youtube for a clip for my homework.
When you keep on searching, it will not appear. Just when you have completely given up, it will come back to you unexpectedly.
This soundtrack was one of my all-time favorites ... I actually bought this CD back in ... I think it was grade 6 or 7. I have forgotten why I would pick this one up when I was at such a young age. Funny enough, I have NEVER seen this movie neither but I absolutely loved and still love this soundtrack.
Since the news of Whitney's death, this song suddenly popped up in my head. I'm not a huge fan of Whitney but I love this song from her. I can fully understand the lyrics in these songs now, the meaning behind them. It's like a female-empowering soundtrack.
"There are those who think that I'm strange They would box me up and tell me to change But you hold me close and softly say That you wouldn't have me any other way... "
"I know I need to be in love I know I've wasted way too much time I know I ask perfection of a quite imperfect world And fool enough to think that's what I'll find..."
- "I need to be in love" by Winterplay
I absolutely love this cover more than the original Carpenter's.
(Perhaps I'm biased because I'm fan of jazzy tunes?) Enjoy :)
Didn't I give it all? Tried my best, Gave you everything I had, Everything and no less, Didn't I do it right? Did I let you down?
Maybe you got too used to, Having me around, Still, how can you walk away, From all my tears? It's gonna be an empty road, Without me right here,
But go on and take it, Take it all with you, Don't look back, At this crumbling fool, Just take it all, With my love, Take it all, With my love,
Maybe I should leave, To help you see, Nothing is better than this, And this is everything we need, So is it over? Is this really it? You're giving up so easily, I thought you loved me more than this,
But go on, go on and take it, Take it all with you, Don't look back, At this crumbling fool, Just take it all, With my love, Take it all, With my love,
I will change if I must, Slow it down and bring it home, I will adjust, Oh, if only, If only you knew, Everything I do, Is for you,
But go on, go on and take it, Take it all with you, Don't look back, At this crumbling fool, Just take it, Take it all with you, Don't look back, At this crumbling fool, Just take it all, With my love, Take it all, With my love, Take it all, With my love.
Incompatible, it don't matter though 'cos someone's bound to hear my cry Speak out if you do You're not easy to find
Is it possible Mr. Loveable Is already in my life? Right in front of me Or maybe you're in disguise
Who doesn't long for someone to hold Who knows how to love you without being told Somebody tell me why I'm on my own If there's a soulmate for everyone
Here we are again, circles never end How do I find the perfect fit There's enough for everyone But I'm still waiting in line
Who doesn't long for someone to hold Who knows how to love you without being told Somebody tell me why I'm on my own If there's a soulmate for everyone
Most relationships seem so transitory They're all good but not the permanent one
Who doesn't long for someone to hold Who knows how to love you without being told Somebody tell me why I'm on my own If there's a soulmate for everyone

If you're with your soulmate, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!! (And don't do anything stupid and rash to loose what you have.)
If you are single, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY WITH FRIENDS!! (I believe there's a soulmate for everyone... wish you can find yours very soon!)
Started a blog years ago when she was single. She dropped her blog because she found love. Now freshly single recently, she decides to start another blog to vent about her breakup. After all, blogs are easier to start and maintain... but that is not the same for relationship...
(and perhaps fashion?)
