I was feeling pretty depressed yesterday for no reason... (well, not really no reason, I think it's my hormones acting up because of "the time of month") I was crying for no reason, being super snappy, irritated by every single thing around me, super disgusted with how I look (even have an urge to slap myself silly), and even yell at the TV for some stupid news stories. Boy, was I a pleasant sight yesterday. This morning, all that shit was cleared up and I'm back to normal. Sun is still shining and I feel calm.
Then I start to think of things I need to do for 2012. I fulfilled my plans for 2011: Travel to Europe? CHECK! Rid my ex out of my mind and finally let him go? CHECK! Travel back home to Vancouver? CHECK!! Start wearing makeup to make myself looking more "decent"... or better, more "put together"? CHECK! Stepping out of my comfort zone by going to different social gatherings that didn't necessary have familiar faces in? CHECK!
Finding a new guy? umm..... NO LUCK.
I've been thinking of going back to school part-time recently. I feel like work is more or less the same. I need to do something I love... get the ol' creative juice back but also, I need to get more work-related knowledge as well. I started looking into costume design... but the film school only offers a full-time diploma program. It doesn't only focus on costume design but props and set designs... and even lightings. I have no love for all these. So... no costume design for me.
Oh well.... might as well go back to my old route... fashion design. But then do I really need to do another certificate when I already have a diploma on that? I kind of want to go back and rekindle my love for design again but ... maybe I should do this just for fun... by doing non-credit courses... but I also want to learn more about the technical side of fashion... like pattern designs, textile surface designs, quality-assessments.... I think these will be more useful for my work... hmmm...
I'm also thinking in 2012, I should start to do a little side biz where I can open a TINY little online shop selling stuff. I know the market has been saturated but it's just something I have always wanted to do since I graduated from fashion school. Oh well.... just a thought...
Decisions... decisions...
What's your plan for 2012?

Then I read about this serum... I read a lot through magazines, online reviews, blogs, youtube clips... rave reviews on a lot of them. So after a few weeks of contemplation, I went to get it. It costs like USD80.00 for 100ml. I followed how others usually make use of this serum.
3rd day in, my face became rosy... ALL the time. Because these several days, the weather has been very dry, so I figured I should put more on so my face wouldn't feel dry. I even pat some serum on my eyelids. 5th day, which was yesterday... I noticed I uncontrollably scratched my face more often and it was pretty "heated" by itself. Everyone at work thought it was the dryness and my face was deprived of moisturizer. By the time, I got home last night, I looked in the mirror at the hallway.... HOLY SHIIIIIEEEEETT!
My whole face was burning red... EVEN my eyelids!! The redness was so weird as my undereye areas weren't red so .... I don't even know how to explain... Needless to say, I had to put an ice pad all over my face to cool down. And put on some cooling mask and ointment for sensitive skin on my face. Good thing the redness didn't cause any bumps and lumps!!
Now my face is less itchy but still heated and slightly red. Sigh.... so much for USD80.00!! Ultima II.... I was sooooo looking forward to have a long-term relationship with you.... you have DISAPPOINTED me!!

I'm still here... in case you are wondering. I pulled my neck recently this week and the pain has been traveling down my left shoulder... and it was really a "pain in the neck" to sleep at night. Pun intended. The pain kept waking me up.
Then prior to my neck, my dog was sick last week and had diarrhea AND vomited a few times... so cleaning after him was another "pain in the neck". Took him to the vet and he felt better now after a week... so expensive to see the vet... oh well, good thing he is better.
One of my clients has been negotiating on the prices every single day... POINTLESSLY ... so annoying... it's like either you pay, or you don't. Don't propose all these unreasonable offers to waste my time...
Needless to say, my mood for these 2 weeks has plummeted.
But... I'm proud to say... I still have no relapse, despite my mood wasn't and isn't the greatest... because my relapses always love to kick me when I'm down. I think I'm really done so even the relapse comes, I can just brush it off my shoulder... my painful shoulder.
